Pilotage is by the Mooring Master, who boards 3nm W of the SPM in the anchorage area. Pilot ladder and manifold crane/derrick to be rigged on port side.

Min depth at berth and approaches 30m. Min allowed under keel clearance 9.0m. Min vessel size, 150,000DWT. Night berthing is not allowed, unberthing is permitted.

Vessel agent to advise ETA 72, 48 and 24 hours prior to arrival. Changes of more than 1 hour to ETA should be reported. Only vessels that conform to latest OCIMF Regulations will be considered for berthing at Hulaylah Terminal. RakGas requires the following information to assist in a timely turn around: ..... 1. Vessel's name 2. ETA 3. Master's name 4. Estimated arrival draught (fore and aft) and displacement. 5. Vessel bow fairlead and chain stopper size? 6. Will cargo be loaded on top? 7. All tanks fully inerted? 8. Pilot ladder and cargo boom available port side? 9. Hose connection 1 x 16in ASA 150 flange acceptable? 10. Does vessel have a fax machine? number? 11. Does vessel have a photo copy machine? 12. Confirm winch drum to be used is ready and empty save for 152m messenger rope, and can safely hold 91m of 10in pick up rope. 13. Does vessel have a typewriter available for use?

All vessel's tanks to be fully inerted on arrival. Max trim on arrival and while alongside 3.0m. Max vessel bow/manifold centre line distance 185m.
