Prigorodnoye, part of the Sakhalin ll Project, has a crude oil export terminal and liquefied natural gas (LNG) processing plant which has recently commenced operations. LNG is exported from a 805m jetty, via two loading arms and one boil off gas return arm, with vessel loading time estimated at 6-16 hours, depending on size of cargo. A crude oil tanker loading unit (TLU) is located approximately 4.8km from land. Aniva Bay is mainly ice free throughout the year.
