Sepanjang (IDSEP)

The terminal comprises of the FSO "Mutiara" in a water depth of 22m. Berthing is STS/port side alongside FSO. The terminal is no longer operational, FSO "Mutiara" having been broken up in year 2009.

Sepanjang Marine Terminal is located offshore Sepanjang Island in East Java.

LOA 120m, 20,000SDWT, 20,000t displacement.

FSO "Mutiara" is in position 07°11.07'S 115°46.55'E.

Tankers are moored along side the FSO on port side (ship to ship mooring). Daylight berthing and unberthing.

Mooring Master boards 2nm S of FSO (07°01.0'S 115°56.0'E).

Wind speed: Loading will be stopped at 30kts wind speed and hose disconnected and berth vacated at 40kts. Sea state: Berth to be vacated with seas of 3m or more.

Two tugs available, 1 x 4,000hp, 1 x 2,200hp and 1 x 1,200hp mooring boat.

Should be sent via the agent 7 days, 72, 48, 24 and 12 hours prior to arrival at the terminal. The message 72 hours prior to arrival should include the following information: ..... 1. ETA 2. Draught (fore and aft) and displacement 3. Quantity of Crude Oil to be loaded 4. Estimated sailing draught (fore and aft) and displacement 5. Last port of call, last cargo and next port of call 6. Whether the vessel has a clean Bill of Health 7. BCM 8. Confirm vessel can secure 2 x 76mm chafing chains in line with OCIMF 9. Confirm that oxygen content in cargo tanks is less than 8% 10. Confirmation vessel's manifold in line with OCIMF standards and able to accept 1 x 12in, 150ANSI Any variations in ETA of more than 2 hours must be communicated immediately to the agent. Masters are requested to instruct the agent to also pass communication details of ETA to the Company's Marine Services Contractor.

During daylight hours the Indonesian flag must be flown throughout the vessels stay at the terminal.
