Rodvig Havn (DKRDH)

The port is currently closed for commercial operations. Information for the port is retained should the port reopen. Rodvig is a small fishing and yacht harbour.

Summer Zone for ships over 100m in length and Winter Zone for ships of 100m or less in length. Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31.

Rodvig is located 3.5nm SW of Stevns Light Tower.

Max LOA 50m, beam 10m, draught 3.5m.

On the NW side, a fishing harbour consisting of a large basin protected on its S side by a mole extending ESE from the shore, is entered through an outer harbour with an entrance of 70m in width, marked by lights at the mole heads, facing SW. On the NE side is a yacht harbour, consisting of a single basin, protected by a mole extending SW from the shore at its E end. Approach should be made from the SE to avoid the bottom nets in the vicinity of Faellesskov Rev, marked by 'RW' Lightbuoy Fl(2)10s, positioned 1.25nm SE of harbour.

Speed is restricted to a maximum of 3kts.

Lyngby Radio (the only coast radio station in Denmark) is recommended for passing messages. The station works throughout 24 hours. Inmarsat communication is possible. VHF: Ch 16.

Customs allowances: One bottle of spirits and 200 cigarettes per person are allowed. If quantities in excess of the allowance are found the penalty is a fine. The size of the fine depends on the amounts in excess of allowances. Clearance is handled by the agent but Customs Officers may board at any time to check the validity of the documents handed to the agent. Immigration: There are no restrictions for crew. Passengers of nationalities which require a visa are only allowed transit in Denmark for 36 hours.

There is no demand for an ETA by Port Authorities. ETA messages should be passed to the ship's agent who will relay it to relevant parties (port, stevedores, work gangs, etc). Pilot requires ETA at boarding point 24, 12 and 4 hours prior to arrival.

Pratique is not required for Danish ports. Agent may request a Maritime Declaration of Health from the Master. Ship Sanitation Control Certificates and Exemption Certificates can be renewed in large ports.

NOR should be tendered in accordance with Charter Party terms.
