Gulluk (TRGUL)

Gulluk is a well protected natural harbour unaffected by winds from any direction. There is a deep water jetty for the use of vessels loading bauxite, feldspar, calcite, emery stone and quartz in bulk.

Summer.

The port is located on the Aegean coast approx 40km NE of Bodrum.

Max draught 14.3m, LOA 200m, beam 32.0m, 50,000DWT.

Approx 800 vessels visit the port annually.

Vessels can anchor 1nm NW of the pier in depths of 20.0m in sand and mud bottom.

Compulsory. Request should be made through local agent 48 hours in advance.

Range 0.35m.

Two tugboats available with capacity of 30 and 45 bollard pull. One tugboat is compulsory for vessel more than 2,000GT and two tugboats compulsory for vessel more than 5,000GT.

Prevailing winds: N'ly (winter); W'ly (summer).
