Hillsborough (GDHIL)

The port is currently closed for commercial operations. Information for the port is retained should the port reopen. Hillsborough Bay is the principal anchorage off the island of Carriacou. The coast is bordered by a bank, with depths of less than 10.0m, which extends as much as 0.7nm offshore. Hillsborough stands on the shores of the bay and is a first port of entry for Grenada.

Hillsborough is located on the W coast of the island of Carriacou between Jack-a-Dan and Sandy Islet.

Anchorage can be found in depths of 26.0m, on fine sand, with the church bearing 133° and the S side of Sandy Island in line with the W side of the lower of Sister Rocks bearing 253°.
