Loegstoer (DKLGR)

The port is currently closed for commercial operations. Information for the port is retained should the port reopen. The port consists of a number of shoreline quays, three small basins, one of which is suitable only for small boats, and berths in Oestre-Kanalhavn.

Loegstoer (Logstor) is situated on the E shore of Loegstoer Bredning at the SW end of Aggersund.

Draught 4.0m. Any vessel capable of passage through Limfjorden can be accommodated in the port.

Vessels not working cargo at alongside berths can anchor on the N side of the fairway.

Approach: The port can be approached from W through Loegstoer Grunde or from E by Aggersund. Loegstoer Grunde Leading Lights are visible only when approaching from Loegstoer Grunde. Two dolphins are situated 135m WNW of the entrance of Oestre-Kanalhavn.

Pilotage is compulsory for the following vessels: ..... 1. Vessels with a draught of over 3.1m when navigating the dredged channels at Mejlgrunden and Draget, and across Loegstoer Grunde. 2. Vessels with a draught of more than 2.8m shall use pilots across Loegstoer Grunde when substantial situation occurs in the channel. 3. Vessels of 80m LOA and over must use pilot for passage of the railway bridge across Limfjorden. Pilot boards eastbound vessels in position 56°57.1'N 009°09.0'E (0.5nm off the Loegstoer Grunde Channel entrance).

Port limits extend from Oestre-Kanalhavn (56°58.1'N 009°14.8'E) to Muslingehavn (0.5nm ENE) and for a distance of 30m offshore of the outer works of the harbour.
