The Ann E. Abramson Marine Facility, located in Frederiksted, is the main cruise ship port in St. Croix.

North Atlantic Seasonal Tropical Area, Tropical Nov 1 to Jul 15, Summer Jul 16 to Oct 31.

Frederiksted is located on the W coast of St Croix, US Virgin Islands.

LOA 311.32m, beam 48.01m, 138,000DWT, draught 10.97m.

There is an open roadstead with anchorage off the town in 9.1m, or in 10.97-12.8m of water with Fort Frederick bearing 099° and SW Cape Light bearing 194°. Restricted areas exist.

Recognised position is 1.5nm off the outermost navigational aid. A local pilot will direct vessels through the channel.

Compulsory. Contact pilots on VHF Ch 16, pilots available throughout 24 hours. Pilot boats are white or green hulled with "Pilot" on the side.
