Prachuap Port (THPPC)

The port handles general cargo, containers, dry bulk and liquid cargo.

Prachuap Port, also known as Bang Saphan, is located in the western part of the Gulf of Thailand, approx 380km by road from Bangkok.

LOA 225m, beam 32.26m, draught 13.5m, 110,000DWT.

Approx 2,800,000t of cargo handled annually.

Quarantine anchorage is centred on 11°11.5'N 099°37.0'E.

The seabuoy is positioned in 11°11.1'N 099°35.8'E. The port has an entrance channel, length 1,400m, width 250m with 14.5m depth from MSL. The berths are protected by a breakwater, which extends to 6.5m above MSL.

The port is fully equipped with international standard navigation aids.

The harbour has 3 tugs of 3,200HP and one mooring vessel which are required to assist in berthing and unberthing.
