Stora Vika (SESTV)

Stora Vika is located on the E side of Fallnasviken, a small inlet approx 15km NNW of Landsort, and S of Stockholm, Sweden.

Max LOA 125.79m, beam 18.2m, draught 6.42m and 10,049DWT.

The port can be approched from the S, NW, and N. Approach and entry from main channel to the S: The harbour is approached by a main channel, with least charted depths of 8.0m, which branches off the Landsort-Sodertalje fairway, leading NE through Svardsfjarden and the channel off the SE side of Liso, which contains a number of islets and shoals, the latter marked by buoys. The fairway, marked by beacons, leads NNW to the harbour in the central part of Fallnasviken. Approach from NW: A channel for vessels approaching from N branches off the main fairway at Galklubb, then SE through the N part of Svardsfjarden to join the S approach channel. Directions for S approach: From a position approx 0.15nm NW of Vattklubben Light (58°49.4'N., 017°44.7'E), the track leads for approx 8km generally NE, and for approx 4.8km NNW to the harbour, passing Bergholmen Light (58°49,4'N., 017°44.7'E), displayed when required, on an islet on th NW side of the fairway. Approach from N: From a position approx 0.2nm ESE of Galklubb Light (58° 49.4'N., 017°44.7'E) and close ENE of Ramsholmen Light, 0.15nm SE, the track leads for approx 4.0km SE to join the S approach channel 0.45nm N of Metgrund.
