Zelenika is used as a customs port as the first port of entry for yachts and private recreational vessels entering Montenegro from Croatia and the N. The port covers an area of 25,000mΠ. Cement reloading had been planned for the port and silos were built on the quay, however, the project was rejected in April 2008.

Zelenika is located at the entrance of Boka Kotorska (Bay of Kotor), near the Croatian border.
