Al Hoceima (MAAHU)

The harbour is protected from the E by Dique de Abrigo, a sheltered mole extending SSE for approx 0.175nm and from the S by Les Islotes which are joined to the coast WSW by a connecting mole.

Al Hoceima is situated on the Mediterranean coast approx 90km WNW of Nador.

Admiralty Pilot NP45.

Pilotage is compulsory. The pilot boarding position is located 0.5nm E of the breakwater.

A light is exhibited from a white tower, 7m in height with a green top, standing at the head of Dique de Abrigo. There is also a light exhibited from a white tower 6m in height, standing at the E extremity of Les Islotes.
