Seogwipo (KRSPO)

The second largest international commercial port on Cheju Do, which is to be developed as a tourist attraction, also has a fishing harbour.

Seogwipo Harbour is situated at the mouth of the Yono Chon river, midway along the S coast of Cheju Do.

Draught 5.5m, 5,000DWT.

Outer anchorage: Temporary anchorage may be obtained outside the harbour according to draught, but there is no protection from the S, sand and mud.

The harbour may be approached by passing either side of Nok Do (33°14.0'N 126° 34.0'E), which fronts the entrance to the harbour. The outer harbour is then entered between the heads of the E and W breakwater.
