Tachibana (JPTBN)

Tachibana is the port of the city of Anan and it has an open harbour. The port handles coal for power generation, gravel, sand, heavy oil and limestone which handled by the companies located at the coastal areas.

Tachibana is situated in the E of Tokushima Prefecture in Tachibana Bay.

LOA 274.95m, beam 47m, 154,324DWT.

Approx 7,000,000t of cargo handled annually.

Draught limitation in the channel is 10.2m. Entry or sailing after sunset is not permitted.

At Nippon Denko W, compulsory for vessels over 10,000DWT, other wharf not compulsory but recommended. Harbour pilots are available at Tachibana anchorage position (33°53.5' 134°43.5'E) during daylight.

Range max 1.8m; min 0.22m.

Tugs are available from Komatsujima when required, approx 1.5 hours trip.
