Numazu (JPNUM)

Numazu is mainly a fishing and small commercial port.

Numazu is situated on the N side of the mouth of Kano Kawa, on the NE bank of Suruga-wan, facing the Pacific Ocean coast of Honshu.

Max draught 5.5m, 5,000DWT

The harbour, protected by breakwaters, is entered on the N side of the end of the N training wall and has a draught limitation in the channel of 7.5m. There are training walls on either side of the river mouth and a light tower stands at the end of the N one. A light tower stands at the head of the W breakwater.

Not compulsory. Pilots are available at Tagonoura during daylight hours only if required.

Range max 1.99m; min 0.26m.

No tugs stationed at the port, but available from Tagonoura and Shimizu if required.
