Etajima (JPETA)

The port is a "closed port" therefore all formalities are to be carried out at the vessel's last port of call in Japan, or at Kure, prior to proceeding to Etajima.

Etajima is on an island situated in the western part of Kure port to the S of Hiroshima.

Max draught 14.0m, 125,000DWT.

Vessels may anchor off the port in 17.0m depth.

Actual depth in the approach channel is 17.0m, 17.4m at HW.

JP1109 and JP142. Admiralty Pilot NP42B, NP286(6).

Pilotage is compulsory for Zen-Noh berth, but optional for C.I Oil Terminal Dolphin Berth. Pilotage is undertaken by Seto Naikai Pilots who will board in Kure Ko Quarantine Anchorage if required.

Range max 4.0m, min -0.28m.

There are 5 tugs of 3,000hp available.
