Bagnoli (ITBLN)

The port is currently closed for commercial operations. Information for the port is retained should the port reopen. The port has bulk facilities for coal and ores in a sheltered bay which can be considered safe in all but the strongest SW'lies, when refuge can be obtained in Baia roads.

Bagnoli is situated in the Gulf of Naples, approx 5nm W of Naples.

Draught 12.65m.

Anchorage is obtainable off Porto di Bagnoli as convenient, on sand, good holding ground. The depths decrease gradually towards the shore with no dangers.

Pilotage is compulsory for all vessels over 500GT and is available throughout 24 hours. Pilot boards 1.2nm W of Porto Paone (Isle di Nisida). Vessels in port should send pilotage requests 1 hour in advance.

Two lights are exhibited from the heads of each of the 4 piers.
