📋 Port Overview
✓ ISPS✓ ECAEcoPort
The sheltered harbour, open 24 hours a day, recently diversified to accommodate the tourist industry. Prior to 1991, the port orientated towards timber and refrigerated goods however this has changed in recent years due to large investments. As a result, the main commercial port in Dubrovnik heavily focuses on passengers from cruise, fast ferry and Ro-Ro vessels. The port is capable of receiving up to five cruise vessels simultaneously. General cargo and fishing vessels are also handled within the port to cater for the local industries. Located within the port is the public marina of Gruz which is used by private pleasure yachts and local vessels. Terminal Sustjepan on the other hand is used as a bunkering operation for passenger ships and fishing vessels.
