📋 Port Overview
✓ ISPS✗ ECAEcoPort
Milford Haven is the largest port in Wales and the sixth largest in the United Kingdom. The Haven is a natural deep water harbour, offering extensive shelter in bad weather. The port area mainly handles tanker traffic, large ferries and cruise liners, along with a large amount of recreational craft and fishing boats. There are deep water quays, a ferry terminal at Pembroke and also an enclosed dock at Milford Docks. There are two major LNG terminals, South Hook and Murco (which is up for sale again as previous buyers only wanted to use the site for storage and distribution). Other terminals include Dragon LPG, Valero (which acquired the terminal from Chevron in 2011) and Semlogistics.
