Caucedo (DOCAU)

The port comprises a deep water container terminal allowing transhipments between the Caribbean and Latin America, and serves as a highway connection to the capital Santa Domingo. The port will facilitate the growing demands for industrial and agricultural products, garments and tourism.

Puerto Caucedo is located on the Caucedo peninsula, open to the Caribbean Sea, on the S coast of the Dominican Republic.

Caucedo approach has 1.1km of deep water sea front with a new breakwater and quay.
