📋 Port Overview
✓ ISPS✓ ECA
Nakskov is the largest commercial port on South Sjaelland and Lolland, Falster. The port is sheltered from all directions of wind and is navigable day and night. Facilities are available for dry and break bulk cargoes, Ro-Ro passenger and car ferries and some liquid cargoes. The port's economy is already benefitting from the offshore wind farm industry and from forthcoming large construction projects in the area which will require construction at sea. Work is due to start on the new Storstroms Bridge and a 4km long tunnel below the waters of the Fehmarn connecting Germany to Denmark.
