Fengjie (CNFJE)

Fengjie is an important port in the eastern part of Sichuan Province and a transhipment port for cruise ships to the Changjiang Gorges. The port has a natural shoreline of 14km with a water area of 1,800,000mІ and a land area of 100,000mІ. The main cargoes handled in the port are coal and local products.

Fengjie is located on the upper reaches of the Changjiang (Yangtze) River.

There are 6 anchorages which can accept 8 ships simultaneously.

The highest water level over the year is 131m, the lowest is 77m and the average is 88m. The water level range is approx 45m and the max is 55m (excluding the range during the flood season).
