The port is equipped to handle a variety of cargo, including dry bulk ships and feeder vessels, making it a vital link for international shipping routes. The facility boasts extensive infrastructure and a considerable quay length, ensuring efficient handling of goods. Larger tankers are able to moor offshore at the Conventional Buoy Mooring, handling diesel products through two underwater pipelines. Its proximity to the East-West highway enhances connectivity, facilitating smooth road transfers and bolstering Albania's position in regional and global trade networks.
