The port consist of terminal operated by Hutchison Ajman International Terminals Limited. Main cargo handled is containers.

Ajman is located on the Gulf coast, approx 4nm NE of Sharjah.

LOA 149.46m, beam 23.25m, 13,944DWT.

Approx 1,450,000t of cargo and 155,000TEU handled annually.

Designated anchorage, 1nm radius, centred on Fairway Buoy. All vessels anchoring in this area should obtain permission from port control.

Fairway Buoy is in position 25°27.44'N 055°26.54'E. The channel is marked with 6 lightbuoys (Fl 1s 2.3m) as follows: ..... Lights mark the port entrance.

Patrol launch is permanently stationed at breakwater.
