Nghi Son (VNNGH)

Nghi Son Port, located in Thanh Hoa province, Vietnam, is a vital maritime hub supporting the Nghi Son Economic Zone. The port features facilities such as Cement and General Cargo Terminals, a Thermal Power Station and an Oil Refinery. Notably, a new refinery with a capacity of 200,000 barrels per day has commenced operations, producing up to 500,000 cubic meters of jet fuel annually for domestic use and export. Its modern infrastructure accommodates large vessels, bolstering regional and international trade.

Pilots VHF: Ch 09, 16.

Vietnam regulations require vessels entering a Vietnamese port to display the Vietnam flag. If the vessel does not possess a Vietnamese flag, the Master can request the local agent to supply it on arrival at the pilot station. There is a penalty for non compliance.
