The port is situated on the SW side of St George Island, Alaska, in the Bering Sea.

The harbour is approached through Zapadni Bay harbour. Leading lights: Front light (red rectangle, white stripe on tower) in 56° 34.2'N 169°40.1'W. Rear light (red rectangle, white stripe on tower) is situated 284m from the front light. The alignment of these lights (076°) leads between 2 breakwaters into the harbour channel with a controlling depth of 5.1m.
