Oak Bluffs (USOB2)

The port is currently closed for commercial operations. Information for the port is retained should the port reopen. The port is an enclosed basin frequented by pleasure craft and some fishing vessels. A yacht club is situated on the N side of the harbour.

Seasonal Tropical Areas.

Oak Bluffs is situated on the E side of Martha's Vineyard Island.

A number of dangers lie in the approaches to the harbour. The chief of these are Lone Rock, with a depth of 1.2m over it, which is marked by No 1 Buoy and lies 0.5nm SE of the entrance, and a rock, with a depth of 2.7m over it, which is marked by a buoy and lies 0.3nm E of the entrance. Caution: Extreme caution should be exercised when approaching the harbour as other uncharted rocks may exist.
