The port handles passengers, petroleum products and general cargo.

Angoon is located on the W side of Admiralty Island, facing Chatham Sound.

LOA 71.91m, beam 16.87m, 851DWT.

The anchorage is in mid harbour off the E end of Killisnoo Island, in depths of 25.0-27.0m. The harbour is somewhat exposed to SE gales, but no considerable current makes into the anchorage.

Approaching from the W, pass N of the N end of Kenasnow Rocks marked by No 2 Lightbuoy approx 0.65nm WSW from Angoon.
