Mudanya (TRMUD)

The port consists of an "L" shaped pier that is managed by the Municipality of Mudanya. The port is generally used by coastal traffic serving provincial towns. Depths range from 5.0-12.0m.

Summer.

Mudanya is located on the southern coast of the Sea of Marmara, approx 75km E of Bandirma.

Max draught 12m, LOA 96.5m.

A general anchorage area, lies up to 0.5nm offshore between Arnavutkoy Burnu and a position 0.3nm SE of the town quay. The best anchorage is in 36.0m, mud, approx 0.2nm E of the head of the town quay. An anchorage for vessels carrying explosives and flammable material lies SE of the general anchorage area. The pilot will advise the best location for anchorage.

Compulsory for all vessels over 1,000GT. Pilots are available throughout 24 hours and provided by Gemport Pilots. Pilot boarding place is 0.8nm NNE of the town quay.

Range 0.3m.

One tug compulsory for vessels more than 2,000GT, two tugs compulsory for vessels more than 5,000GT. Towage and/or mooring boat is arranged by pilots and provided by Gemport.
