Skelleftea (SESFT)

The Port of Skelleftea, located on Sweden's northern coast, serves as a vital logistics hub for the region. Its strategic position facilitates seamless integration of sea transport, making it a key player in northern Sweden's economic development. The port handles general cargo, dry bulk, and liquid cargo. During the winter months the port suffers from ice and ice breaker assistance is occasionally needed.

Summer Zone for ships over 100m in length and Winter Zone for ships of 100m or less. Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31.

Skelleftea is located on the N of Skelleftebukten, on the Bothnian Bay.

Anchorage may be obtained in a depths of 11 to 26.0m, in position 64°40.0'N, 021°19.0'E.

The channel draught is 12.0m to Ronnskarsverken and 8.2m to Skelleftehamn inner harbour.

Visibility: Vessels with LOA over 160m and/or beam over 30m and/or draught over 9.5m no night time berthing permitted, minimum visibility required 3nm.
