Slavyanka (RUSKA)

The port consists of an outer harbour with several numbered anchorages and an inner harbour with two piers, a commercial wharf and ship repair yard. Cargoes handled include scrap metal, general cargo, motor vehicles, liquid petroleum products and logs.

Summer Zone for vessels over 100m in length and Winter Seasonal Zone for vessels of 100m or less. Winter: Dec 1 to Feb 28/29, Summer: Mar 1 to Nov 30.

The port of Slavyanka lies at the head of Bukhta Slavyanka, 28nm SW of Vladivostok.

Draught 8.7m.

There are 7 numbered anchorages in the outer harbour in depths of 14.0-18.0m, bottom mud, with shelter from S and W winds. Quarantine Anchorage No 7 is located in position 42°53.4'N 131°25.3'E.

The port is approached from Zaliv Amurskiy through Zaiv Slavyanka and entered through Bukhta Slavyanshiy.

Vessels should request permission from the Port Despatcher before entering, mooring or changing moorings.

Compulsory. Available 0800-2359hrs on working days. Pilotage for large tonnage vessels and those with draught over 7.0m available in daylight only (in good visibility). Request for pilot to be sent 2 hours prior to arrival to the Port Despatcher (Slavanskiy SRZ) on VHF Ch 30. Pilot boards in position 42°52.8'N 131°25.0'E.

Compulsory for all foreign vessels. Available from 0800 to 2359 hours. If tugs are required outside normal working hours, Master's should notify the agent 24 hours in advance.

Ice: Appears in Dec, the bay freezes completely in Jan. Ice covers the N part of the bay from Jan to Mar and remains in the S part until mid-Apr.
