📋 Port Overview
✓ ISPS✗ ECA
It is navigable all year round and is open throughout 24 hours, foreign vessels must pass through specific entry positions as shown in Navigation section and be ice classed during the winter period. The port is not well protected from winds and seas. In winter, the intensity of wave action is reduced due to floating ice in the port. Max wave height is 1.5-2.0m. The Bay of Aniva almost never freezes. The main cargoes handled are coal, timber products, minerals, grain, containers, steel, chemicals in bulk, cellulose, paper and foods. A large volume of timber is transhipped for export at the port.
