Tiksi (RUIKS)

It is one of the principal ports for accessing the Laptev Sea. The port is navigable from middle of July until the middle of October. The main cargoes are commodities, general cargoes, container, coal and timber freights. During summer navigation local passenger transportations are performed.

Tiksi is located at W coast of the Tiksi Bay near the delta of Lena river of the Laptev Sea.

Max draught 5.6m.

Anchorage can be obtain by vessels within the port or in the outer roadstead by the permission of the Port State Control.
