Egvekinot (RUEGV)

The port is closed to foreign vessels and handles cargo from Russian ports only. The cargo arrive by sea from Vladivostock, Nakhodka for electrical station, gold mines, Chukotka Trade Company etc. Current status Closed. No port calls since 30/11/2021.

The port is situated on the NE coast of Russia.

Draught 8m.

Approx 80 vessels and 600,000t of cargo annually.

There are 8 numbered anchorages available which Nos 1 - 5 are in a line 6 cables from E shore (Nos 1 - 3 for tanker anchorages) and Nos 6 - 8 are in the centre of the Bay (about 1 mile N).
