πŸ“‹ Port Overview

βœ“ ISPSβœ“ ECA
Tulcea Port is one of Romania's largest river ports, strategically located at the gateway to the Danube Delta. It plays a crucial role in facilitating both domestic and international trade via the Danube River. The port remains operational year-round, with icebreakers deployed in winter to ensure access to the Sulina Channel. Tulcea Port handles a wide range of exports, including ferroalloys, aluminum hydroxide and scrap iron, while its imports primarily consist of chemicals, limestone, quartzite, bauxite, chrome ore, iron and coke. It also serves as a vital hub for the transit of dry and general cargo in bulk.
