Claveria (PHCLV)

Port management have declared the port closed, cargoes destined for this port are being redirected to Currimao. The port consists of 868m of quayage giving a total of 11 berthing spaces.

Claveria is located on the N coast of Luzon on the W side of Cabicungan River, approx 32km NW of Aparri.

Max permissible draught, along the 80m portion from N of the quay, is 13.0m and 8.5m to 10.5m along the rest of the quay.

Outer anchorage: Anchorage can be obtained, in fine weather, 0.225nm ENE of the pierhead at Taggat, in a depth of 37m. During the monsoon it is advisable to anchor 0.6nm from the pierhead in approximately 65m. Anchorage can also be obtained 0.4nm N of Claveria, in depths from 18.0 to 27.0m, sand. The S-most of two small coves at the E end of Claveria Bay affords fair protection from the NE to boats.

ETA should be sent 72 hours prior to arrival through the different telegram offices in the city such as RCPI, PT & T, Telefast Clavicilla and Globe Machay.

Foreign ships will clear quarantine on arrival. Quarantine officers will board the vessel before the pilot boards.
