Steinesjoen (NOSNS)

The port is currently closed for commercial operations. Information for the port is retained should the port reopen. A natural harbour, protected by a mole at the seaward extremity.

The port is situated 2nm to the WSW of Bo, in the area of Steinesjoen, in the SW corner of the island of Langoya, Nordland County.

Best anchorage is to the W of the harbour, close E of Skagen Light, with good holding in clay. Approach to the anchorage is in the W sector of Skagen Light (68°36.3'N 014°26.4'E), Oc (1) WRG 6s 5m 10-7M).

Steinesjoen (Bo) port is approached direct from sea, using the W sector of the Karvikholmen Light, (68°36.2'N 014°27.5'E), Oc(2)WRG 8s 10m 9-6M. Beware numerous submerged rocks throughout the approaches to the harbour. The SE end of the mole is marked by a lit beacon, Iso(1)R 2s 4m 1M.
