The port is currently closed for commercial operations. Information for the port is retained should the port reopen. There are several quays at Sandane, along with a small craft harbour situated on the N side of the entrance to Sandebukta. The port is a cruise ship port of call. Of the three main quays at Sandane, the largest is Fellekjopskaien situated on the NE side of the bay. It consists of an interrupted concrete and stone quay with depths alongside from 4.0m to 5.7m.
