Aandalsnes (NOAND)

Aandalsnes is a small port with facilities for cruise vessels and other general cargo.

Aandalsnes is located on Romsdalsfjord at the mouth of the Rauma river.

Anchorage is available over the whole of Isfjorden from Aandalsnes to Stein, 2.5nm NE, in even depth of approx 35m, mud.

Pilotage is compulsory and provided, from Alesund, through Safe Sea Net. Alternatively, through the KVITSOY Pilot Booking Centre at additional costs. Vessels should call Alesund pilot station on VHF Ch 16, 2 hours prior to arrival. If the pilot station does not respond, Floro CRS or Rogaland CRS will reply and relay details to the pilot station. Pilot boarding positions; 62° 27.0'N 005°58.9'E, or by arrangement, 62°31.0'N 005°40.9'E.
