Bunga Raya Marine Terminal (MYBGR)

Bunga Raya Marine Terminal comprises FSO 'PM-3 CAA', 116,000DWT, moored to the sea floor by 9 chains and driven piles. Production from the Bunga Raya 'A' Central Processing Platform ("BRA CPP") is routed via bridge linked Bunga Raya 'B' wellhead riser platform ("BRB") located approximately 1.3nm E of the FSO and flows through a 10in subsea pipeline, PLEM and flexible riser to the FSO.

Bunga Raya Marine Terminal is situated approximately 108nm NE of Kota Bahru off the E coast of Peninsular Malaysia.

The anchorage is located to the SW of the terminal at 6° 56' 59" N, 104° 06' 02" E. The coordinate represents the centre of a circle with a radius of 2.5km, in a depths of 50.0m to 60.0m.

Export Tanker mooring comprises of a 20in circumference mooring hawser, 80m long with 76mm of 8in diameter chafing chain. The hawser is equipped with 150m pick up line a 200m messenger and associated pick up hardware.

The NE monsoon becomes established during November. During this period, the wind direction over the open seas is predominantly NE'ly. From May to October, the wind is predominantly SW'ly.

The schedule of rates for use of the Malaysian Customs Service will be given to export tankers.

The ETA should be updated at least 72, 48, 24 and 12 hours prior to arrival at the anchorage area.

The fire and safety regulations and smoking restrictions should be brought to the notice of all personnel on board and must be strictly enforced.

The Mooring Master will act on behalf of the company to acknowledge receipt of tanker's Notice of Readiness (NOR). NOR will only accepted at 0700-1700hr or on completion of mooring outside this range, which should be tendered at time of arrival at the anchorage.
