Koje Terminal is the former name for Geoje Terminal.

Geoje Terminal, formerly known as Koje Terminal, is located off E Geoje Island, 2nm N of Soi Mai Lighthouse, in the Korea Strait (Daehan Haehyeop), approximately 20nm from Busan.

LOA 336.17m, draught 21.0m, beam 60m, 322,861DWT.

Anchorage area is in position 34°49'N 128°49'E.

Berthing takes place during daylight only (0900hrs to 3 hours before sunset). Unberthing is possible 24 hours a day.

Pilotage is compulsory and throughout 24 hours. Vessels which arrive outside working hours should anchor 2.5nm NE of pilot boarding station. The pilot boards 3nm E of Jisim-do.

Weather Limitations: Stop cargo with wind speed 23kts, wave height 2.0m. Disconnect hose with wind speed 29kts, wave height 2.5m. Vessel unmoored with wind speed 38kts, wave height 3.0m.

Tidal range 1.75m. SE'ly during flood tide and NE'ly during ebb tide, max rate 1kt.

Vessels less than 150,000DWT, 2 tugs for mooring and unmooring (more than 3,000hp). 150,000DWT or more, 3 tugs for mooring, 2 tugs for unmooring (more than 3,000hp). 1 tug fast aft during cargo operations.
