Tadri (INTAD)

Tadri is a minor fishing port. The port is closed to commercial operations.

Arabian Sea Seasonal Tropical Area, Tropical Sep 1 to May 31, Summer Jun 1 to Aug 31.

Tadri is located approx 1nm within the entrance to Aghnashini River on its N bank.

Anchorage may be obtained 2nm offshore in depths of 9.0m.

Aghnashini River is navigable for a short distance only and local knowledge is needed to cross the bar which is subject to constant silting.

Tadri Light is exhibited, from mid-Sep to mid-June, from a stone tower painted black and white at the NW entrance point to Aghnashini River.

There is no coastal radio station in the port. Messages should be sent via Bahrain or Singapore Radio.

Customs allowances: One bottle of liquor and one carton of cigarettes is allowed for each crew member per week. Immigration: Immigration officials will check passports/CDC (Seaman's Books) and issue shore permits. Nationals from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh and China (mainland) will not be issued with landing permits.

ETA messages are to be given by master/owners to charterers/shippers or consignees 7, 5, 3, 2 and 1 day prior to arrival or as per Charter Party.

Local port health officer grants pratique after boarding vessel.

To be tendered as per terms and conditions of Charter Party. Generally, NOR tendered by master on vessel's arrival advising that vessel is ready to load/discharge the nominated cargo.
