Kraljevica (HRKRA)

The small port has the majority of the inlet bordered by masonry quays, equipped with bollards and rings. There is a shipyard and there are regular ferry services.

Kraljevica is situated in the Vino-dol Channel, at the entrance to the Gulf of Bakar.

Anchorage may be obtained near the middle of the inlet, favouring the E side, in 20.0-22.0m mud, good holding, using two anchors and with hawsers secured to the NE shore. Special regulations are in force for anchorage SE of the town jetty. Anchorage is prohibited in the vicinity of shipyard.

Pilotage is provided by Rijeka and pilot boards in position 45°15'N 014°27'E.

Light (red metal column, 4m in height) on NE corner of town jetty. Light (white round tower, 5m in height) on SW corner of town jetty.

The inlet is sheltered from all but W winds which can cause a considerable sea.
