Aliveri Bay (GRLVR)

The bay, approx 1.25nm in width, is open to the SW. There are facilities around the bay, the main ones being Milaki cement factory, Aliverion power station and Karavos Harbour. Milaki cement factory is situated near the SE corner of the bay and the power station stands on the E side of the head of the bay. Karavos harbour is situated at the N head.

Aliveri Bay is approx 35nm NE of Athens.

Max. LOA 229m, beam 32.26m, draught 11.9m, 81,688DWT.

Aliveri Bay affords good anchorage in depths of 27.0-29.0m. The depths occur close inshore but the holding ground is good.

Aliverion power station mole has a light in position 38°23'N 024°03'E.
