On the vessel receiving orders to discharge at the Tetney Marine Terminal, the vessel will be provided with the following documentation: ..... 1. Pre-Arrival Information Exchange Document: Contains details such as Vessel Dimensions, Cargo Loaded, Over the Tide Procedures, Waste Disposal Requirements. It is a requirement that this document is completed and returned to the Terminal as soon as possible or not later than 12 hours after departure from the loading port. Where the loaded voyage is less than 12 hours, the document should be completed and sent out on or prior to departure from the load port. 2. Tetney Port Information Handbook: Contains the Terminal Regulations and Information. NOTE: If the visting vessel has access to the OCIMF Marine Terminal Information System (MTIS), then it can access and download the two documents mentioned above.
ETA
Inward Bound: Vessels should send their ETA to the Harbour Master via VTS Humber Data Centre, at least 24 hours in advance, or within 1 hour of departure from last port of call where such port of call is not situated within the Humber. Inward Bound: Masters or Agents of vessels sailing to any port or berth within the Humber, requiring the services of an Authorised Pilot, must give at least 12 hours advance notice to VTS Humber Data Centre with an ETA at the seaward limit of the Humber Pilotage Area. The vessel's ETA must be confirmed by calling VTS Humber on VHF Channel 14 not later than 2 hours 30 minutes prior to the arrival at the Spurn Light Float (Racon M). The 2 hours 30 minutes confirmation notice is required in all cases. Vessels entering inwards past the Humber Light Float must establish VHF communications with VTS Humber on Channel 14. VTS Humber is divided into operational areas, the first area being from seaward to the meridian of longitude passing through the NΒ° 4A βClee Nessβ Light Float. Tetney Monobuoy is located within this area. Vessels wishing to report to VTS Humber or obtain Pilotage information should call VTS Humber on VHF Channel 14. VHF Channel 13 is the inter-ship channel in this area and is used for communications between pilot vessels and vessels boarding and landing pilots. When the Tetney Marine Terminal Mooring Master has confirmed berthing situation at the Monobuoy, at a time not later than 3 hours before HW Albert (or 3 hours before LW Spurn for LW berthing), VTS Humber will advise the Pilot that: ..... (a) The Monobuoy is available, or (b) The Monobuoy is occupied but should be available, on arrival, or (c) The Monobuoy will not be available on arrival. Tetney Monobuoy: On passing the Spurn Light Float, direct communication should be established between the inbound vessel, work boat "Spurn Haven II", or such other craft as may be attending the incoming vessel, and the designated tugs allocated to the vessel on VHF Ch73.
General notices & regulations
The anchors must be secured by their stoppers to prevent accidental dropping at all times when the vessel is in the approaches to, and secured to, the Monobuoy.
Standard messages
The completion of the Pre-Arrival information Exchange Document meets the information requirements of the Terminal; vessels should update the Terminal and the ship's Agents on its ETA on a regular basis.
