New Holland (GBNHO)

The main berths are operated by New Holland Bulk Services Ltd. All load/discharge berths NAABSA.

North Atlantic Winter Seasonal Zone II, Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31.

New Holland is situated on the S bank of the Humber River, opposite Kingston upon Hull.

Approx LOA 120m, beam 18m, draught 6.8m (springs) and 5.0-5.5m (neaps), 6,500DWT.

Approx 1,000,000t of cargo handled annually.

Bull anchorage (Spurn).

Vessels should follow the main buoyed channel to New Holland Pier. There is no recognised channel or navigation aids as the channel in the river changes constantly.

Boatmen, callsign "New Holland Pier" VHF Ch 22 (working).

Compulsory for all vessels over 60m for berthing.

For safe arrival draught in approach channel, allow 1.5m from Hull (Albert Dock) tidal predictions. When passing New Holland Jetty, vessels must reduce speed to avoid damage to those alongside.
