Pohnpei Harbour (FMPNI)

The port is confined and obstructed with many coral patches but is well protected by a barrier reef.

Pohnpei Harbour is located on the N side of Pohnpei Island.

Draught 8.0m.

Langar Road: In the vacinity of Middle Ground Reef, depths of about 49m, but clear of several unmarked shoals.

BA 981. Admiralty Pilot NP60.

Pilotage is compulsory for vessels over 300GT and should be arranged through the vessel's agent. The pilot boat will meet a vessel about 1.5nm NW of the front leading light for Jokaj Passage (06°59.8'N 158°11.4'E).
