The main approach is at Ajax Beacon. There is a lighted fairway with a depth of 12m. From the roads to the harbour, the depth is 11.0m.

Koverhar Light is exhibited from a hut on the pierhead.

During wintertime only. Berthing is available throughout 24 hours.
