El Tor (EGTOR)

Al-Tour, considered as one of the oldest ports in Egypt, was established on the Red Sea as a quarantine port for passengers and those returning from pilgrimage. It is also used by large fishing vessels and for petroleum company equipment.

Tropical.

AL-Tour port is located on the eastern coast of Suez gulf (about 280 km southwards Suez city)

Pilotage is compulsory for the Petrol Dock.

Range 1.3m to 2.3m.

Prevailing winds: N and NW'ly. The rainy season is in winter.
