Sillamae (EESLM)

SILPORT is an alternative name for Sillamae.

Port of Sillamae, also known as Silport, is situated in the Bay of Narva on the S coast of the Gulf of Finland. The port is only 25 km from the EU-Russian border which enable the distribution of goods to its neighbouring country. It is open to ships all year round.

LOA 280, draught 15m, beam 53m, 162,000DWT.

6 Mooring bollards available at Alexela Sillamae Terminal, berths 1 & 2, 9 mooring bollards available at berth 4. No other special requirement. Tankers moors bow facing out wards.

Compulsory for all vessels. Pilotage should be requested 24 hours prior to arrival, ETA given 6 hours and then 2 hours before arrival. Pilotage of AS Eastu Loots is available throughout 24 hours. Entering Narva Bay the pilot station is located at 59°29'N 027°42'E.

Vessels of LOA 150-180m or more, should use tug assistance. Tug Terminal with 3 berths at the port.

Generally ice free all year round. Ice breaking assistance available if needed. Wind speed: 4,5 m/s avg

The captain or agent of the vessel calling at the port shall notify of his planned arrival border guard regional body, customhouse performing customs surveillance of the port, coordination centre of the Estonian Maritime Administration, local health protection service, Plant Production Inspectorate, Veterinary and Food Board, Harbour Master: 1) coming from foreign waters 24 hours beforehand or directly after departure from the previous port, if the duration of the voyage remains under 24 hours. 2) going to foreign waters minimum four hours prior departure from the port; 3) unexpected arrival or departure from the port immediately. The Captain or agent of the vessel shall 4 hours prior the arrival of the ship to the port submit specified data as follows: ..... 1. Ship's name and flag 2. Number of crew 3. Number of passengers 4. Data and technical state of the vessel Vessels entering inland maritime waters from foreign water should inform border guard region and pilot service 2 hours prior to entering inland maritime waters. Passenger ferries should submit crew and passenger lists electronically to border guard region, at least 1 hour prior to arriving at the port. Passenger ferries are given priority for entering and leaving the port. Tankers are requested to moor bow out. When loading, discharging and bunkering a tanker, a signal code flag "B" shall be hoisted and a red all round signal light switched on at night. Max length of vessel at the port is 275m. Any vessels larger than 275m entering the port or mooring alongside one another need permission from the harbourmaster.
